I’ve always been the kind of person to want to visit and support local places when I travel. To eat at local restaurants and bars, visit parks, go dancing, and immerse myself in the local vibe. 

I always found it odd that people would go on a vacation just to experience things they could easily have back home. I understand the draw towards convenience and luxury style living, but I found myself wondering, is there a better way to do it?

And after traveling to over 20 countries and eventually rooting a bit in the Caribbean, I came to the decision to do it myself.

Goco Goes is about creating fertile environments for tourists to travel in a more mindful way. To connect with locals and the natural ecosystems and to have as much fun as possible while also boosting locals and ecosystem sustainability. 

For our community, we prioritize comfort and action based on what you like. If you wish to be left alone to relax, boom, we get it and we have it. If you are the kind of person who wished to explore culture, ya tu sabes, we have many options. Or let's say you wish to go on an adventure, hiking, kayaking, surfing, fishing, or off-roading, we have it all accessible for you. 

Let's say you wish to travel to learn or serve. To immerse yourself in a forest of edible plants, to work alongside teaching music, and to share skills and information you believe people would value, we can help you set up your own space here. 

At our destinations, we prioritize the concept of sustainable community-based tourism, giving the smaller local businesses and non-profits a piece of the economic pie that has overwhelmingly gone to the largest hotels and resorts.

We work with many people whom I know do amazing things. From a coop of women who produce organic chocolate and tropical wines to the families who worked their entire life to build a business to show people the wonders of the mangrove forest and coral reefs and the beautiful wildlife like flamingos and manatees. 

We have a bit of everything. 

Goco Goes is a Black & Indigenous owned family business, we are new to business, but experts at travel. We pride ourselves in our ethical code and desire to provide our best service for you.
