Travel the world with$1300/month budget

Goco here!

I am here to break all of the rules that limit our ability to express who we are. In this post, I’m here to shatter stereotypes about traveling for vacation.

Let’s break it down!

Traveling as a lifestyle is achievable for anyone if they so desire it to be. I am living proof. I travel and live in the Caribbean with a budget of $1300 a month.

That is $43 a day and includes my rent, utilities, food, transportation, and beach time.

This budget does not take into consideration the ticket which cost me $300. But as you may imagine, saving $300 is not an impossible feat.

I purchased two one-way tickets as necessary to enter the country, but I canceled my return ticket so I could stay at my own leisure.

With $1300 a month, I live a block from the Caribbean Sea. 10 mins from 3 different beaches, and a major grocery store, and my life feels like a perpetual vacation.

I get to experience the Caribbean like most tourists never do, I get to create moments with locals and connect with the incredible natural environments around me.

Every day I get to listen to the waves of the ocean, I get to feel the sea breeze from my balcony, and wake up to strong coffee produced by beans that grew a few miles from my kitchen.

I’m not rich. I’m not lucky. I’m not special. I just act on my vision to create the life I always wanted. And I believe you can do this too, easily.

$1300 is not a lot of money, and yet I feel comfortable. With every day I feel more and more like the dream life I wish to have is becoming true.

If you work remotely and earn $9/hr or more, you would easily have a larger budget to work with than I do now.

That tells me that all the stereotypes or limitations we have placed on who gets to travel are false.

Traveling for vacation is not simply for the wealthy or fortunate.

You can easily book a flight and copy my methods.

But traveling is dangerous, how do you feel safe?

Life can be as dangerous as we wish it to be. I feel very safe here.

The idea is our perception of the world is constructed primarily by the thoughts and emotions we engage with. For many, the thoughts in their mind aren’t even their original self-expression; rather thoughts were given to them by the media, their neighbors, and social media.

That is not to say traveling isn’t risky. Of course, within everything we do, there is always a chance for risk.

Limiting your own opportunity simply because of the idea of uncertainty or risk is in itself boring and also its very own risk.

If you choose to live in fear, you will only see things that validate that idea. It is a vicious cycle that can impact your long-term health and happiness. But for anyone. it is just as possible to choose a life that seeks opportunity, growth, and courage.

This message is for those who chose the latter. Let my example help you create the life you desire by breaking down these limitations given to us.

Because of this method. I get to take my own time in experiencing the places I go to, it allows me to maintain a stress-free and open mindset. So that I can express my authentic self to the world. And so I can live as a truly free person living consciously and intentionally in the moment.

My current desire is to share my story in the hopes that someone listens and acts on my words in a way that benefits their own life.

After all, money isn’t the goal, happiness is.

Peace
